Today I want to create a comparison on these two forex brokers, Pepperstone and Tickmill, so here I go with that.

From the first thing that I notice, they both have a common with being registered with FCA. Pepperstone is licensed with ASIC as well, meanwhile Tickmill is licensed with FSA, CySEC, FSCA along with FCA. Starting off with implying that they are quite good forex brokers backed with strong regulatory bodies.

We will discuss the pros and cons of these two brokers, so that it will be quite easier for you to choose which brokers to open an account with after I do the breakdown on their trading conditions which are:

  • SPREADS

Here, we are looking for tight spreads and as you can see tickmill fares so much better as compared to Pepperstone which is quite surprising, to say.

  • COMMISSION

Pepperstone — $7/100k RT

Tickmill — $4/100k RT

Judging from what we are seeing with just commission, Tickmill, once again, fares better than the other one. Now, when we include both commission and pips together, here is the full picture:

It should not come as a surprise considering Tickmill has a tighter spread along with lower commission when being compared with Pepperstone.

  • PAYMENT METHODS

Pepperstone — Major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, and other payment methods like BPay PayPal Neteller Skrill Union Pay. Do note that Pepperstone charges $1 when using Neteller or Skrill and $20 for Bank Wire Transfer

Tickmill — Major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard and Skrill, Neteller, Fasapay, SticPay, UnionPay, QIWI. They also have the bank wire transfer. No fees are being charged.

  • DEPOSIT & WITHDRAWALS

Deposits and withdrawals of both forex brokers take within 24 hours for the whole process to be completed. Minimum of $25 and $100 are required to make a withdrawal and deposit respectively, with Tickmill in any payment methods, meanwhile there is no minimum withdrawal required apart from the bank wire transfer with Pepperstone

  • SERVICES

Both the forex brokers offer the great services including multiple account types, different trading tools and many more. And these two brokers do not charge any inactivity fees for a lifetime.

CONCLUSION

Coming to the conclusion, it is quite obvious that Pepperstone is a winner here, especially if we are talking about the various instruments, and multiple trading platforms. But when it comes commissions and spreads, Tickmill has a better edge. Overall feeling, I would recommend both of them, but as always the final decision lies on you. It never hurts to try opening a demo account with Pepperstone and Tickmill and see which one suits you the best.

Hope this helps!
